The Price of Beauty: Plastic Surgery

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder -- and looks aren't everything. Just ask hottie Adam Levine of Maroon 5: "You don't have to be the most attractive person in the world," he told In Touch Weekly. "If a woman walks into a room with confidence, I notice her right away." Unfortunately, confidence is often tied to body image. And in Hollywood, starlets are going under the knife in hopes of boosting their self-esteem and box-office worth. But in the rest of the U.S., a study by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons revealed that teens under 18 only make up about 4 percent of total cosmetic surgeries.
