Was there anything you were self-conscious about as a teen?

Yes, there definitely was. I wouldn't be able to have the show if I hadn't had Plain Jane moments myself. But I don't think there was anything out of the ordinary. Everyone has something. I had my braces phase, a bad skin phase, you know -- all sorts. Nothing major stands out, but just bad hair days and fashion disasters at times.
