How did you keep everything a secret?
It was so incredibly difficult, but I have to say that the perverse pleasure I got out of being able to hold it over everybody's head definitely helped some.

Didn't they try to pry it out of you?
It came up in conversation a lot and my parents knew that I had to keep a secret. They knew what was at stake, so they helped me out a little bit. But whenever people on the street recognized me as Nicole from ANTM, the first question out of their mouths would be, "So did you win?" and my response was always just to laugh at them and say, "You have to watch and wait and see!"
