What was the most memorable moment to you?
I remember standing next to Tim Gunn in an elevator and saying, "Oh my , I'm standing next to Tim Gunn" under my breath. He heard me and put one arm around my shoulder and gave me a soft hug and said back to me, "It's just me." That was such an amazing moment for me. He has a sensibility about him that is fantastic. He truly wants each designer to be their best. Even through his dry wit there is a truth that he trys to convey. It can come off as kind and sometimes harsh, but at the end of the day I truly think he wants us all to be our best.
What's the hardest part about being on the show?
Every challenge had an unexpected moment. That's the only constant of the show. Each time there is some sort of a twist that happens at the last minute. Every guest judge was a surprise. It really kept you on your toes.
