We noticed Yadira's super bright skirt from across the street! New York City traffic couldn't stop us from running across for a chat. We were dying to know what drew her to hot pink and if the popular gladiator sandal is as comfy as it is cute.

What made you choose a hot pink skirt?
I saw it and it was really bright, fun and different and I thought, "it's perfect!"

How would you describe your personal style?
Very bright and very colorful -- it's very funky and kind of all over the place.

Gladiator sandals are all the rage right now, but are they as comfortable as they look?
They are really comfortable! I love them.

Short haircuts are so trendy! Have you always had your hair short?
No, I've had it different lengths. I had it longer but kinda chopped it off because I wanted to go towards the Anna Wintour [editor of Vogue] thing. So it's just something different and funky.
