Who better to dish style advice than a chick who works in the fashion biz herself? We stopped and chatted with Tara, who works in fashion PR, while on her way to post-grad classes at FIT. We're lovin' her denim mini and boots! Tara took a sec to dish on her personal style, her beauty must-have and her celeb inspiration--plus, she shared her own awesome fash advice! Read on!

Love your outfit! How would you describe your personal style?
I would say funky-edgy. I like stuff that's a little more rocker-ish looking and kind of messy.

Tell us about what you're wearing.
It's a mix of cheap and slightly higher end pieces. It's really hot today so I just wanted something that was easy to throw on. My watch and my bag are Michael Kors, and the top and skirt are less expensive items.

What are some of your favorite fall trends?
I definitely love the over-the-knee boot. I'm like, obsessed. I love the booties that are kind of combat looking and really edgy. I also really like the big shoulders. It's kind of an 80's comeback.

Can you offer us any fashion advice since you're in the biz?
My advice would be to experiment. If you see something you like, try it. Not every trend works on every person, so just mix things up to find your own style.
