Overall Mini

Let's take things back to 1992. I was 9 years old, and I totally dug tween hip-hop group, Kris Kross. (Think of them as the Bow Wow and Lil' Romeo of yesteryear.) The thing about Kris Kross was that besides their cute rhymes and adorable looks, they wore their overalls backwards. While Kris Kross' dominance in my CD player didn't last past puberty, their signature overalls have made a comeback in my closet. But instead of wearing overalls backwards, I sport an overall mini-dress like this one ($29.50, alloy.com). Shimmering Face Pearls

I love high-pigment, shimmering eye shadows, and I can't live without blush or bronzer. But the thing is, I hate spending tons of time on my make-up! That's why I like Tinte Cosmetics' Shimmering Face Pearls ($14, tintecosmetics.com) -- it functions as both an eyeshadow and blush! My fave shade is Rose Petals, and I dig it cuz its rose-gold, iridescent color freshens up my look. Not all the hues are blush-worthy (try smearing Emerald Velvet on your cheeks, and you'll look like Kermit the Frog). Wool Trench

I'm big on earth tones. There's something about the way golds, browns, greens, and oranges go so well together that makes me want to look for those colors when I'm updating my wardrobe. I wear 'em year round, but I must say that wearing fall colors is so much more fun in the fall.
