"Do I look fat in this?"

This is the #1 question to avoid. You know all the TV shows make fun of it, and it's totally cliché, but you're completely guilty of this sitch. Why go there? This is a question that will open a can of worms you're not ready to clean up. So quit fishing for compliments and digging for petty fights. If you really want to know what he thinks, ask him, "How do I look?" or "Do you like my new top?" Think of questions that don't set him up for a "wrong" answer.
