Prom Pitfall #2: You're Odd-Girl Out

So you're in the limo with your date… and all of his friends. Ugh. Your girls will be at the dance, but in the meantime you've gotta survive the limo ride and dinner. You might be struck by shyness or feel totally insecure all of a sudden, but don't let your nerves get to you! Unless his friends and their dates are total snobs (in which case, that's their problem, not yours) chances are they're ready to mix and mingle. Start with a smile and be friendly! If he's a gentleman, your date will make all the necessary introductions -- and you'll totally impress him if you take initiative and make the effort to be friendly.
