OK, so guys like it when you look good. They just don't want to know how much effort you put into looking the way you do! So if he comes to pick you up for a date, and you keep him waiting (and waiting, and waiting…) while you finish your hair and make-up? He probs won't be the happiest camper. As a rule of thumb: two hours getting ready is waay too long! Fifteen minutes for a shower, 15 minutes to blow-dry your hair, and 30 minutes doing your hair and make-up -- tops. Why?
