He Gives You Compliments

This one's a no-brainer. Suffice to say, if your guy gives you compliments on a pretty regular basis, he's a sweetie! However, as time goes on, you might find that the compliments happen less and less. Which is totally natural -- as boys get more comfortable with you and your relationship becomes more defined they might feel less pressure to impress. But that doesn't mean he should be any less caring or communicative! If you start noticing that he's not as available (literally or emotionally), doesn't make eye contact with you when you're talking, etc., it might be time for a lil' status check. Explain to him that you're not a mind reader, and that you could use some positive reinforcement here and there.
