"He ditched me because another girl said to!"
Last year, I was going out with a guy named Doug. He was perfect for me! He was so caring, and he would always put me first. We were so close that I was convinced we would never break up. When I asked him to hang out with my friends and me one Friday, he told me had soccer practice. Unfortunately, practice ended around 5:30, and we were leaving a lot earlier. Later on that night, my friend called me and said she was really sorry for what had happened, but I had no idea what she was talking about. She said she heard that my boyfriend had left me a message telling me that it was over. Shocked and nervous, I checked my voicemail, and there was a message from Doug saying that he thought we didn't see each other often enough and that we were over. I cried for such a long time, and I knew that wasn't why he had broken up with me. About two months later, I found out that soccer practice had actually been canceled that Friday and Doug was hanging out with some of his friends instead. One of the girls in that group had talked him into breaking up with me! I asked him about it, and he admitted that it was true. About a week later, the girl who convinced Doug to break up with me was dating him. What a jerk! They so deserve each other!
