"He surprised me with a picnic!"

My boyfriend, Eric, and I have been going out for about three months. Last weekend, I was asleep on Sunday morning when my phone rang. "Hey," a guy's voice said. "Do you want to have a picnic?" (I was so tired that it took me a minute to realize it was my BF!) "What? I'm sleeping," I said. He wouldn't take no for an answer. "C'mon, let's have a picnic," he said. "Go to your front lawn." I looked outside my window and saw his car parked across the street. I threw on some clothes, brushed my teeth (as if I'd go out there with morning breath -- gross!), and walked outside. Eric was sitting on a picnic blanket on my front lawn with fresh bagels and orange juice. (I was so surprised that I thought maybe I was still dreaming!) He looked at me and said, "I tell you all the time that I love you, but today I wanted to show you." I can't believe I snagged such a sweetie!
