"He ditched me at prom!"
I'd been dating this boy for a couple of months and things were going really well, except a girl (who he claimed was "just a friend") was always hanging out with him or calling him. Whenever I asked him what was going on, he said they were "just friends." Imagine my surprise when I went to the prom with him, and I was left standing alone for most of the time while he went off with his so-called friend! (Even his friends were mad at him for treating me like that.) That night, he dropped me off at home, but I found out later that he went and picked up the other girl, and they hung out for the rest of the night. It turns out he'd been dating both of us for the last two months -- and neither of us knew about it! After he was caught, he said he had to "choose" which girl he wanted. I told him I'd make the decision easy for him: I left him and kept my dignity. He and his "friend" are still together and going strong. Maybe it's for the best -- he wasn't that cute anyways!
