"He surprised me at a concert!"

I had a ticket to see a concert, but the show sold out before my boyfriend could buy his ticket. I was so mad because it was my favorite band, and I really wanted him to be there. Plus, it was the date of our five-month anniversary. My boyfriend kept apologizing, but there was nothing either of us could do. The night of the concert, I was so lonely. The crowd was full of couples, since most of the songs are slow and romantic. After the opening band played, I got a text message from my boyfriend. It said: "I'm waiting outside. I love you." I couldn't believe he'd taken the train all the way into New York City from Long Island -- over an hour away! The main band hadn't even started, but I ran down the stairs and out of the building. He was standing there, leaning against a tree and smiling. I flew into his arms and hugged him so tight! He said, "I couldn't not see you on our anniversary."
