My boyfriend, Alex, and I had been dating for five months. On my birthday, I couldn't help but wonder what he would do for me. (I've never had a BF on my birthday before!) When I got to school that day, he wished me a happy birthday, but other than that, he just acted normal. I was kind of upset, but I didn't want him to know I had my hopes up. Then in my first class, the intercom came on and someone started singing. Alex had snuck into the principal's office, turned on the intercom, and sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I couldn't believe it! I was so happy, and after school he surprised me again with flowers. I gave him the biggest hug ever.
