"He threw me a surprise party!"

This year, I insisted that no one make a big deal for my birthday. I had just started seeing my BF, and he said we were gonna see a movie to celebrate. Instead, he picked me up and drove to his parents' summer house. Turns out, he had planned a big surprise bash for me! He knew I'd complain about not dressing up for it, so he'd even given my BFF some cash to pick out a birthday outfit for me. (When we got there, he snuck me around back so I could change before anyone saw me.) The party was awesome! My BF invited 50 of my closest friends and family, and he even hired a DJ and a crazy clown! But my favorite part was the song he wrote and performed for me in front of everyone. I'll never forget all the fun we had, and my friends are still reeling about how great the night was. I guess I have to start planning because I definitely plan to make his birthday that good -- or even better!
