"He made our one year anniversary date amazing!"

On our one-year anniversary, I was so excited to find out what my boyfriend had planned for me. But when he showed up and said we were meeting the guys for dinner then catching a movie, I was a little less than thrilled. On the way to dinner, his friend called and said he was running late, so my boyfriend suggested we go to the park (I love the park). And when we got there, I saw a blanket and picnic blanket laid out under the stars surrounded by candles with a vase of two dozen red roses in it (well, one was orange because they're my favorite -- he said next year there will be two orange ones to represent the years we've spent together). It was the most amazing date I'd ever been on with a great home cooked meal.
