"He said he had a surprise for me, but it never happened."

I met this guy and we became friends. We started hanging out a lot. After a while, it turned into a little more than just friends. He told me one day that he had a surprise for me. I was sure he was gonna ask me out, but the surprise never happened. I asked him later what the surprise was supposed to be and he told me that he had planned to ask me out. After that, I didn't hear from him for a couple weeks, and I thought that was weird. Next thing I know, he posted a bulletin on his MySpace about his new GF.
