"My boyfriend threw a surprise birthday party for me!"

For my birthday my boyfriend planned a surprise birthday party (which I totally found out about). But when I asked what he was doing for my birthday, he said, "Watching the Super Bowl game on Sunday." Then he asked, "Why?" When I heard that I was upset and said, "No reason." I told him that I'd have a birthday dinner with my family. That night after dinner, we came home and I was wondering why the house was dark. Then I opened the door and everyone who I knew was there yelling, "Happy birthday!" As I stood there, I saw my boyfriend looking at me and smiling. He said, "What a game!"
