"He pretended to like me!"

Every summer I visit my Dad in Colorado and go to a lot of fairs. I had gone the first few days with my family, but one day my friend Jenna, my sister Meghan, and I were going by ourselves. Well, Meghan decided to go on a ride. We were sitting on the side where we could see this guy and he looks right at me and smiled. When he got off we took our pics together. Later that night, we told him we'd be there on Saturday and he said he'd come, too. Well Saturday came and I hadn't seen him all day. I finally gave up and settled for this other guy. But later that night, Jenna and I were leaving and saw him and his friend. They came over and we talked for a while. Then we got their phone numbers and left. A couple days later we went bowling and we invited them. They came and we ended up kissing. That night he kept texting Jenna asking if I like him and what I'd say if he asked me out. A week later we went out to the movies, me, Jenna, him, and his friend, and during the movie, he didn't even hold my hand. When we left we asked his friend what happened, and he said he didn't like me at all. He had just been pretending!
