"He wrote me love letters!"

My boyfriend and I met years ago and became acquaintances through school. Then we starting dating, and fell in love. Five months later, he had to leave on short notice for four months under unfortunate circumstances. Talking over the phone was expensive, so phone calls were limited to a maximum of 15 minutes per day. Some days we wouldn't even talk at all. So, we had to write to each other since 15 minutes of talking is nothing practically. He promised me he would write every day, and I promised the same. He was gone for 105 days, and during that time, I received more than 110 letters from him! They weren't short boring letters either. Dozens of them were mushy love letters (which I love!). It definitely showed me that he truly cared about and missed me.
