I think that I am getting a handle on this promo tour thing. I really have enjoyed performing for all of you, though I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. I have noticed that hotel rooms are pretty much all the same. A floral bedspread that is normally itchy, some generic art on the walls, a TV that never seems to have anything on, a phone that takes an extra nine numbers to get an outside line, and the dreaded room service menu. I think that since hotels are trying to be your home away from home that all of the items on the room service menu should be comfort foods -- some mac 'n' cheese, a decent pizza, a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream -- not a club sandwich. But at that hour that club sandwich tastes awesome. Normally, it is a different hotel every night, which means a different room number. I have only tried to get into the wrong room 10 times -- the first couple I just didn't understand why the key wasn't working. LOL
