I am not sure what city I am in right now. We are driving to the next stop. Driving has to be the best way to see the country. I highly recommend it, but I don’t think you should be on such a tight schedule when you do it. There’s no time to stop and see the sights right now -- I will have to go back to see the giant ball of string.
I have learned that when traveling Murphy’s Law does definitely apply. You know the one -- anything that can go wrong will. I had one of those days this week. We were flying into Nashville, and we get off of the plane to find out that all of our bags, including my guitar and all of my clothes, were sent to Memphis. Not just our stuff, but also the baggage from the whole plane. I had never heard of that happening before. We were flying again that night to New York. I had a live TV performance in the morning, and we were being told that my stuff wouldn’t get there until late the next day. Luckily, my tour manager, John, was able to stay behind at the airport to fix the problem, while I went to the radio station. Here is a picture with me and John when we got news that the bags were going to meet us in New York. Big thanks to the people that got my baggage to New York that night. I did make my TV appearance on Live With Regis & Kelly, in clean clothes and with MY guitar. The show was great. Afterwards, Regis invited me upstairs to see his Dean Martin collection. It was awesome! He has so much cool stuff. Dean is one of my favorites, so it was cool to see.
We are arriving at our next stop. I guess that is all for now.
Keep listening.
