It's so awesome that Alloy asked me to be a guest blogger! You will get to hear from me once a week until Christmas. So many things are happening right now -- it's perfect timing. I have so much going through my head that wants to come out all at once, but I’ll do my best not to ramble…

Let’s see. Right now, you probably know me best from the show I did on Nickelodeon with Josh Peck, Drake and Josh. Soon you'll know me as a musician, and not just the one I play on TV. My debut album comes out December 5th on Universal Motown. It is titled It’s Only Time, which is fitting. It took about two years to record it. I put a lot of myself into it, and I can hardly believe that it's done. Sometimes I really didn’t think we were ever going to make it to this point, and then at other times, I knew I was just where I was supposed to be.

I just got back from New York. I did a bunch of promotional stuff for the album, and I have been told this is just the beginning. I say, "Bring It On!" My management has asked me to put that on tape for them, so they can play it back to me on when I start saying I need a break after my 50th interview in a day.

I was recently on a plane and heard a kid humming something behind me; I thought it sounded familiar -- then he started singing. I was blown away. He was singing one of my songs! I turned around, kneeling on my seat, and asked if he was singing "Found Away." He said yes, but not much else. I think I stunned him, but I was more blown away than he was. That was the coolest experience so far.

Anyway, "I Know" is my first single. We shot the video in New York, too. I've really been spending a lot of time there. We were told last week that the video has been added to MTV, too!
