Ah, the road. Like any job, you gotta work your way up. When we started touring we had a 15-passenger van. We stuffed all the gear and band members in there and just drove around the country. But now, we have a bus. And what "the road" means to me now is quite different than what it used to. I enjoy it a lot more. Not that I didn't before. But it's great now. The road used to mean no sleep -- ever. We'd leave a gig around midnight, drive all night and maybe doze off for a few minutes, then get right to the next city and do radio. Now, I have a bed on my bus. I also have a bunch of other stuff. Like a kitchen where I can make one of my favorites: PB&J. The pictures below are a couple exclusive "behind the scenes" shots of life on the road.

Picture 1: That's a shot I took of the back of my bus. You can see the TV with video games going. That is a necessity for maintaining sanity on those long drives.

Picture 2: This is my drummer, Greg Gonzalez, making a PBJ. He dropped the PB half on his shoe.

Picture 3: This is me during sound check. Now that I'm on a headlining tour, I get more time to check it out and have some fun.
