Question: "Can long distance relationships really work out?"
What he said: "Long relationships can definitely work -- you just have to be willing to put in the effort. Obviously you need to trust the person, but that's the same in any relationship. For me, the big thing is patience. Fighting over the phone is probably the most pointless thing you can do. Nothing ever gets accomplished! So pick your battles very wisely, and when it doesn't seem worth it, you have to be willing to compromise. Be willing to give in, and be patient when you don't necessarily agree. Like most things in a relationship, it's give-or-take. You can't always have it your way, so be willing to concede."
