We asked: "Why do guys prefer girly girls over tomboys?"

He said: "I'm definitely into any type of girl! I've dated the tomboy type and it's lasted. But other guys [like girly girls] because opposites attract. Since most guys consider themselves [to be] 'manly men,' that the opposite (and what they would be looking for in someone to date) would be a 'girly girl.' Guys love long beautiful hair, the scent of [a girl's] perfume, and all the things that make them different than guys. Most tomboys aren't into the more girly things and seem to prefer wearing baggy jeans and sweatshirts, as opposed to tighter clothes that shows off the female body (which guys, of course, love)."
