He said: Honestly, this can have a lot of different meanings. It could mean that he loves her but that he needs to move away from the relationship and focus on other things. Sometimes guys will also use this line when they don't feel like they're getting enough attention from the girl he's seeing. But then again, it could just be an easy way out of a relationship and a way to let the girl down easy. Unfortunately there's no one way to look at it because it varies by relationship and by guy.
