Sure, it seems like a selfish match on her part, but hey -- she's not the first. Remember Lauren's high school nemesis, Kristin Cavallari? She was rumored to have hooked up with Nick Lachey before he hooked up with Vanessa Minnillo, and she got tons of attention for it! Plus, we all know how Lauren feels about British boys. Earlier in season two of The Hills, she boldly picked up a cute Brit and flirted shamelessly with him.
