Joel Madden and Hilary may have made an odd pairing (she was 16 and he was 25!) but it worked for them. Things were just peachy for two and a half years until they finally ended the relationship. "There was nothing -- no fight, no 'He did this, I did this,'" Hilary told People. "It was just time for people to move on and do different things." She added that the breakup was mutual and she will always care about him. Things were serene in ex-ville but that all changed once Joel started dating Nicole Richie. "I felt disrespected that he moved on so quickly," Hil told Seventeen. All of the going out he did after we broke up sort of shocked me... I felt like I just didn't really know him as well as I thought I did." Aww, poor Hilary!
